The establishment and operation of a small business entails risk. Many small businesses do not take advantage of the laws that have been designed to protect small business owner and to encourage the formation of small businesses to minimizing risks. Every small business should be started and operated within a manner that anticipates failure but does not expect it to fail. Gregory M. Wade, Esq. will conduct this class in 3 parts which will include the following topics:
1. Protecting personal assets from Business Bankruptcy in the event of the business failing. 2. How to properly set-up the business entity to minimize the risk to personal assets. 3. An overview of the bankruptcy system. 4. How to hold family and personals assets to minimize the risk of loss of those assets to business creditors. 5. The use of corporations, LLC's, trusts, and other techniques to avoid risks and enhance profits.
