Direct Lending

The Business Finance Center has two distinct loan programs:
 

  • The Hispanic Equipment Loan
  • The Helping Hands Loan


WHAT IS THE HISPANIC EQUIPMENT LOAN?

The Hispanic Equipment loan provides direct loans of $2,000 to $5,000, for equipment purchase, to hispanic owned businesses in the Washington Metropolitan area. No business plan is required for this loan and it has a five day turnaround. See the Hispanic loan page for more details.

WHAT IS THE HELPING HANDS LOAN? 
The CBP Helping Hands loan fund provides loans of $500 to low income individuals to enable them to purchase business cards, take training, purchase inventory or help with any additional small start up costs.  See the Helping Hands loan page for more details.


Indirect Lending


CBP is also a technical assistance provider for the SBA Export Express and Patriot Express small loan through Superior Financial Group. This program offers between 5K - 25K to small businesses. See the Express Loan page for more details.
